A Painting Journey

I’ve been working on this painting for over a year as part of a course. What an adventure my spirit and body have been on as I dove deep into the shadows and darkness, remembering so much. She is finished and represents the end of the last wave of my life, and riding with me through the next.

I’m working on a written piece that captures the story of what this represents to me. For now, I will share this:

This is a tribute to all who came before and led the way in the darkness, keeping the flame of the divine feminine alive in defiance of the patriarchy, and often in plain sight for those with eyes to see and hearts to hear so that future generations could continue to carry the torch.
